Panel Talk: Heart of the House: Art & the West Coast Modern Home

Please join us for a panel talk on West Coast mid-century design and art followed by a Q&A until noon. We will discuss art within West Coast Modern homes, connections between designers and artists, and the legacies of Canadian architects, Ron Thom, and John Di Castri. Visitors will enjoy hearing from the following speakers: 

Steven McNeil, Curator of Historical and Canadian Art, AGGV
Allan Collier, Collector/Curator who specializes in modernist craft and design in Canada
Martin Segger, Academic, art historian, writer and former director of the University of Victoria Legacy Art Galleries
Adele Weder, Architectural historian and cultural journalist based in Vancouver
