Inspired by Asian art in the AGGV’s Permanent Collection Galleries, A View From Here: Reimagining the AGGV Collections, discover the art of handmade paper and basic bookmaking in this 6-week course.
Learn traditional mould-style papermaking, and experiment with texture, colour, and materials to create unique paper sheets. Participants will incorporate their custom papers into beautifully hand-constructed books, developing skills and confidence in both crafts while emphasizing the centuries-old link between materials, function, and art.
All materials and supplies are provided.
