Online Workshops
This year’s school workshops have gone virtual! The AGGV’s workshops for school-aged learners look a lot different this year, and we’re excited to share them with you!
This project started with a heartfelt conversation between local artists Bradley Yuxwelupton Dick, Farheen HaQ, and AGGV Educator of School & Family Programs Jennifer Van de Pol.
We are so pleased to offer two online (pre-recorded) workshops featuring each artist, that explore: How do stories and art-making ground us in our bodies and the traditional lands we live in? How does art teach us about being compassionate and gentle with ourselves?
Although these workshops can be enjoyed by all ages, they were specially made with school aged learners in mind (approx grades 4-9 ) – both in classroom and home-school learning environments.
SIGN UP FOR THE ONLINE WORKSHOPS AND ENJOY:
- Learning about these inspiring artists and their art practices
- Hearing how art connects them to what’s most important
- Making some art!
