Discover painting and printmaking inspired by the exhibition From Brush to Block: Paintings and Prints by Imao Keinen and Kono Bairei. Designed for youth ages 11 and up, explore hands-on techniques such as painting on gelatin to create monoprints, blending acrylic painting with block prints to make one-of-a-kind mixed-media works, and experimenting with watercolours to create both paintings and prints. Through exploration with a variety of media, participants will observe how their ideas transform as they move between different techniques, ultimately discovering their own unique artistic voices.   

Participants will celebrate with a Summer Camp 2026 show on the final day of camp, where work will be displayed and shared with family and friends in the Spencer Gallery.
