Join us to celebrate the coming together of artworks and music!

In collaboration with the Victoria Symphony, vsNEW (Young Composers), students have created original musical compositions inspired by an artwork of their choice from our Permanent Collection Galleries, A View From Here: Reimagining the AGGV Collection that will be performed by the Victoria Symphony. We look forward to seeing you at this first public performance of these compositions.

Soundtrack  celebrates the powerful interplay between art and music, offering music organizations and schools a platform to collaborate with the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria. Running from October to June each year, Soundtrack invites emerging musicians to compose original works inspired by the Gallery’s collection.

vsNEW is an innovative program for young local composers to write new works for small ensembles of dedicated Victoria Symphony musicians. Learn more about this program:
