Erika Stenson
Erika Stenson was born in Victoria and has deep roots on Vancouver Island. She is an alumna of Harvard Business School, a communications and advertising accredited professional, and has a diploma in applied communications. She has served on a number of boards including Destination Greater Victoria, BC Museums Association, Big Brothers Big Sisters Victoria, Greater Victoria Commission to End Homelessness and Destination BC’s Sales and Marketing Committee. She previously sat on the Canadian Museums Association Awards Jury.
Erika was a member of University of Victoria’s Congress of the Humanities 2013 Community Partnerships committee, and a Royal BC Museum representative on the marketing committee of the National Association of Natural History Museums. Erika’s career has led her from client-focused communications firms to museums and galleries to not for profit social sector fundraising. Her heart lies with the GLAM and STEAM sectors. She is thrilled to join the AGGV board and support the work of the talented and dedicated teams at the Gallery.
