Claire Christinel
Claire Christinel is an award winning artist with a Design Diploma from Langara College in Vancouver, who also studied fine arts in Toulouse, France. She holds Signature Status (AFCA) with the Federation of Canadian Artists. Her paintings in oils or acrylics are in private collections in Canada, the United States, England and France.
As a representational artist of landscapes and still life, Claire is always drawn to the effect of shadow and light, which creates beauty and drama. “It’s what makes the scene come alive for me and draws me to want to capture that moment in paint. I strive to create a perfect balance of realism and painterly interpretation in my works.”
