To celebrate the opening of the exhibition, Fifty Shades of Ink: Ink Paintings from the AGGV Collection, join us for a special conversation held in Mandarin that delves into the enduring art of ink painting and its relevance today. Moderated by Dr. Heng Wu, AGGV Curator of Asian Art, the event brings together three local artists, Xuan Yongsheng, Li Zhenjun, and Su Jiangang, who will share their perspectives on the evolving language of ink, the balance between tradition and experimentation, and the ways contemporary artists continue to engage with this timeless medium.

This conversation will be recorded and available on the AGGV website with English subtitles at a later date.

新展 Fifty Shades of Ink: Ink Paintings from the AGGV Collection 开幕在即，我们准备了一场特别的对话。届时，我馆亚洲艺术研究员吴蘅博士(Dr. Heng Wu, AGGV Curator of Asian Art) 将与BC省三位华裔艺术家宣永生、李振军、苏健刚共同探讨水墨相关话题。他们将畅谈笔墨的韵律，分享创作中的故事，并思考古老墨韵如何在今日世界找到新的流动与呼吸。
