COVID Creations Show & SaleSep 18 | 9:00 am - 11:59 am
The Art Rentals and Sales team presents COVID Creations Show and Sale, both online and at the Massey Sales Gallery starting September 18.
This pandemic has posed our entire community with the challenge of isolation. During lockdown, many people have sought to find new ways to nurture themselves through baking or picking up a new hobby. Likewise, for artists, this meant finding solace in their art and drawing inspiration from their time spent in solitude.
COVID Creations Show and Sale will feature new innovative works created during quarantine by emerging and established local artists from the Art Rental & Sales program. Whether artists experimented with new mediums given the lack of access to art supplies or new subject matter in response to the global crisis, all works reflect individual responses from the heart. There is even a portrait expressing gratitude to Dr. Bonnie Henry. Don’t miss this dynamic show celebrating the catharsis of creating art!
Show & Sale runs until October 17, 2020
Work is available for purchase online or in-person at the Massey Sales Gallery (appointments recommended).
