Collective Grief, Collective Futures: Emerging Artists WorkshopsSunday Oct 4 | 1:00 PM - 3:00 pm
How do emerging artists continue to create during a global pandemic?
In this three-part digital program in collaboration between the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria and the Legacy Art Gallery, emerging artists will come together with facilitator K.P. Denis, three mentoring artists (Kemi Craig, Estraven Lupino-Smith, and Ghinwa Yassine), and the other participants to discuss the effect COVID-19 has had on their artistic practice.
This free program will take place over Zoom and consist of three sessions on Sunday, October 4, 11, and 18 from 1-3pm. Participants are expected to attend all three sessions.
Please note that participation is limited, and the deadline to register is Thursday, Oct 1 at 5pm through google forms below:
Please contact either Regan Shrumm, Assistant Curator at the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria, at firstname.lastname@example.org or Amy Smith, BCAC Education and Public Programs Intern at the Legacy Art Gallery, at email@example.com for questions or concerns.
