Deryk Houston
Canadian, Scotland born, artist Deryk Houston is blessed to share his art and use it as an instrument for peace. His work ranges from large earthen works, steel sculptures, and paintings. Houston has spent a lifetime trying to understanding our hazardous, yet beautiful world through his art. He has mounted one-man exhibitions in the former Soviet Union, Scotland, Iraq, the USA and Canada. The National Film Board of Canada featured his work in the documentary “From Baghdad to Peace Country.” His work is in the permanent collection of the Canadian War Museum in Ottawa on the recommendation of the National Gallery of Canada.
