Selfhood

Visit all five artworks, created by emerging artists, across the City of Victoria. These five self-portraits were created as a part of Selfhood, a six-week workshop series featuring five youth using Threshold Housing services. The youth worked with local artists M. Ali Kahn and Libby Oliver through artistic skill-sharing. The artworks around the workshop’s theme of identity and self-representation using a range of mediums from photography to digital art, challenging the traditional figurative form of the self-portrait.
