PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT EVENTS ASSISTANT

The Art Gallery of Greater Victoria is seeking a summer student for the term position of Public Engagement Events Assistant. As a member of the Curatorial Department the key responsibility for this position is to assist in the Art Gallery’s on-site and digital programming, as well as the AGGV’s largest community public engagement initiative – the TD Art Gallery Paint-In.

The Public Engagement Events Assistant will report to the Outreach and Events Coordinator. This is a 15-week position with a proposed term date of May 2, 2022 to August 12, 2022.

This position is funded through the Young Canada Works in Heritage Organizations Program. Candidates must and be registered with this program for which details are found HERE.
