I love working with my hands … moulding the clay … sometimes one piece at at time, sometimes rolling it and stacking it to the desired form. I love the human form with all of its imperfections. Each of my sculptures is an original; I never replicate the exact same piece.
The genesis of my work is born from my own experiences, from those close to me and from those with whom I’ve connected through my travels in different countries and cultures.
I do hope that people connect with the feeling I’m trying to evoke through my work and thus give it life.
