Joanne Thomson
Joanne Thomson enjoys the challenge of making a living as an Artist in Victoria. Thomson’s medium is watercolour, on paper and canvas. You will find her outdoors in all seasons as she draws the the inner forest, her favourite subjects for large fine art paintings. Her illustration work ranges from native wild flowers to textbooks for hospice and palliative care. Thomson also loves to share her knowledge and enthusiasm about art making with others. She holds a Master’s Degree in Adult Education and teaches through UVic Continuing Studies, in her home studio, and as a guest facilitator in small communities.
