Louise moved to Victoria in 2015 after retiring from as a police dispatcher and 911 operator for the Vancouver Police/Ecomm for over 25 years. Prior to her move, she visited Victoria regularly as she subscribed to Pacific Opera Victoria. During her visits to Victoria, she was a regular visitor to the AGGV, enjoying not only its interesting exhibitions but its off the beaten track location.
Louise joined the Gallery Associates in 2016, serving on committees such as the Pat Bovey Lecture, House Tours and Art Tours. She has also been on the Associates Executive as secretary for a total of five years. She is the current Gallery Associates President.
Her other volunteering commitments are with the Friends of Government House Gardens Society as co-ordinator of the Rotary Garden and former board member. She also helped found the Yates Street Community Garden. Louise was recently honoured to receive the Coronation Medal for her service to the community.
