School Workshops

(in-person)

Every fall, the AGGV delivers our popular workshops in schools featuring a local artist, in partnership with UVic’s Indigenous Education Department. We look forward to learning, experimenting and making with you!

Workshops are for grades 4-12* in school districts 61, 62 and 63 (Victoria, Sooke, and Saanich, BC) and are offered Wednesday mornings (approx. 9am-noon) September 28 – November 30 (except Nov 9.) The cost per workshop is $125.
*Workshops are usually for two classes, 60 students max. We recommend that 2 teachers combine classes to enjoy the experience together.

2022 workshops are inspired by our brand new Teacher Resource Guide entitled Honouring, featuring the artwork of three inspiring contemporary Indigenous artists. We are delighted that Tyrone Elliott is our 2022 Guest Artist! Learn more about the artist HERE
