October 1, 1998 - October 1, 1998Our exhibition on this sprawling age of classical ideals (15th & 16th century) encompasses the work of many artists, including Pier Fiorentino (1444?98) and Durer (1471?1528), whose prodigious output of etchings, paintings, engravings and woodcuts make him the most important northern European master of the Renaissance.
More than 40 works from the Renaissance, including several of Durer’s outstanding etchings are on display as well as a marble-sculptured bust of Leonardo lent to us by Maarten Schaddelee
