Form & Spirit
June 11, 1999 - June 11, 1999Fifteen sculptures by each artist will comprise this exhibition. Visitors will see that both artists share an affinity for form and spirit in their intensely personal sculptures.
Schaddelee?s work is collected world-wide, his muse is the west coast, and he is the best-known for his beloved whales, dolphins, eagles and seals, as well as sculptures depicting St. Clare, St. Francis and Leonardo da Vinci.
Whether as concert tenor, musician, poet or sculptor, Alfred Kristiansen has always expressed himself artistically. His work ranges from driftwood sculptures to intricate ebony carvings inlaid with ivory. Most of his work is housed in private collections in Canada, Denmark and Isreal. One piece, Rebecca (1968) is in the US Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington DC.
