EVENT UPDATE REGARDING COVID-19

Due to the public health advisory announced by Dr. Bonnie Henry, provincial health officer yesterday, Thursday, March 12, 2020, the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria has cancelled Urbanite on March 20. We will be issuing refunds as soon as possible, and we appreciate your patience and understanding.

As the British Columbia Government, as well as top Health officials in British Columbia, have encouraged event organizers to cancel all gatherings of 250 people or more, we at the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria consider it our responsibility to put the wellbeing of our patrons, our volunteers and our gallery above all else.

The Art Gallery of Greater Victoria will continue to monitor the global response to the COVID- 19 situation and are continuing to rely on evidence-based information published by the BC Centre for Disease Control – ImmunizeBC, Government of British Columbia the and the Government of Canada.

We will continue to provide as much up-to-date information as possible in the coming days.

Please refer to our website, electronic communications and our social media channels, which will be regularly updated with any new information or developments.

In the meanwhile, the AGGV will continue to be open so please check out our online event calendar for regular programming. We hope you stay healthy, and we look forward to seeing you at the Gallery.
