Selfhood Celebration
Dec 3 | 6:00 pm - 8:00 pmJoin us to celebrate the work of ten participating youth from Threshold Housing Society, with an evening of friends, food and refreshments.
Over six weeks of workshops with artist facilitators M. Ali Kahn and Libby Oliver, the participants have created artwork based on the themes of identity, self-representation, and non-traditional self-portraiture using a range of mediums including photography and poetry. Through fostering personal growth and artistic skill-sharing, Selfhood‘s goal is to inspire a creative future for the participants.
At the celebration, each participant’s self-portrait will be on display as a part of BRAINSTORM until February 17, 2019.
