Donna first joined the Board of the Art Gallery in 1997, serving as a Board member and honorary Board member over a period on 16 years. Her connection with the Gallery began in elementary school, taking art classes in the Mansion along with other lucky Victoria children.
Donna was a Victoria District School Trustee for thirteen years, serving as Chair for three terms, as well as serving as President of the B.C. School Trustees Association, and Chair of the B.C. Public School Employers Association. She has been a member of the Gallery Associates since 2010, serving as President and Vice President. She is currently immediate Past President, continuing to be involved with the Associates who play a key role in the ongoing support of the Gallery, through fund-raising and advocacy.
