Urbanite 2025

After a 5-year hiatus, Victoria’s hottest night of art and mingling is back!

SAVE THE DATE: Friday, April 25, 2025 | 8 – 11pm

Pop Art Theme

We are excited to announce the return of Urbanite, the Gallery’s most popular 19+ program! Join us for an unforgettable late-night art party at the Gallery. We will be animating a range of themes from our current exhibitions to current cultural topics.

Experience Pop Art through exhibition activations and hands-on activities. Enjoy custom cocktails by Sheringham Distillery, mocktails by Lumette!, wine by Storied Wines and Spirits, and beer by Hoyne Brewing.  DJ Joshua James will electrify the party with expertly curated track selections that will leave you feeling uplifted and inspired! Think bold, vibrant and colourful looks for your OOTD and dress to impress. Need some inspo? Check out our mood board here!

This Urbanite will mark our farewell to the travelling exhibition, From Warhol to Bansky, which invites visitors to view works of art that define the Pop Art movement and highlights the careers of some of the art world’s most iconic figures.  It’s also the perfect opportunity to see our permanent exhibition A View From Here: Reimagining the AGGV Collections, and your last chance to catch Beauty of Mending: Kintsugi and Beyond, and Pop Art sister show, From Balzar to Hunt.
