Submission Requirements
Exhibition proposals are accepted throughout the year and reviews are ongoing. Given the large number of submissions received by the gallery, formal letters of reply will only be issued to proposals of immediate interest. Though all submissions will be treated with care, the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria assumes no responsibility for loss or damage to submission material. If you would like to have specific submission content returned, please include a SASE with your request. The Gallery schedules its exhibition programming at least two years in advance.
Guidelines:
Applications should be concise and include:
- a current Curriculum Vitae
- 10 good quality images of recent work on CD or DVD
- an image list with the artist’s name, titles, dates, medium and size.
- an artist statement and/or letter of intent.
- A self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE) must be included for submission materials that are requested for return.
