Largely drawn from the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria’s historical collections, this thematic exhibition asks us to consider the symbolic and allegorical meanings of vegetation in art particularly as they relate to human existence and our struggle with mortality.

Flora is part of a larger exhibition program for spring 2011 in Victoria, the Garden City of Canada. Down The Garden Path is a contemporary exhibition featuring Scott McFarland, Mark Lewis, and Yedda Morrison exploring the idea of how we inhabit public and private spaces, such as gardens and parks.
