Family Sunday: Honouring Our Earth
Apr 27 | 2:00 pm - 4:00 pmIn celebration of Earth Day, join us for an afternoon of honouring our glorious planet! Building on ideas from A View From Here: Reimagining the AGGV Collections, make an exciting nature mask, and paint outside in our Japanese garden, weather permitting. Craft an animated spinning earth toy, too!
For a special treat Nathan Wairoa with the Victoria Conservatory of Music will be joining us to share a hands-on musical experience that will be sure to delight!
Family Sundays are included with admission.
Admission is always free for the following groups:
- Visitors age 25 and under
- AGGV Members and See Art Pass holders
- Indigenous peoples
- Support workers
Family Sunday happens every third (and sometimes fourth) Sunday of the month from October – June, and is an afternoon of exploring hands-on art-making and ideas for all ages. This recurring program often features special guests like storytellers, artists, performers or musicians.
