BiographyHon. Mark Hudson Kearley was born on 3 March 1895. He was the son of Hudson Ewbanke Kearley, 1st Viscount Devonport and Selina Chester. He married Mabel Florence Dagley, daughter of John Francis Dagley, on 26 May 1928. He died in 1977.1He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England. He was educated at Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England. He was a Civil Prisoner of War between 1914 and 1918 at Ruhleben, Germany. He was officially designated war artist in HMCS Naden at Esquimalt, British Columbia, Canada. He was co-founder of the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria in 1944 at Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.Children of Hon.
