DescriptionThe anthemion ( honeysuckle ) is seen in a stylized version on the doors & drawer fronts of the cabinet. It is inlaid with ebonized boxwood. The cabinet doors are edged with a fine strip of metal reeding. When open they reveal wooden adjustments for shelving which was probably used for the storage of prints.Status
