DescriptionSmall rectangular wooden shrine with rounded sides and two hinged doors that open to reveal a carved wooden seated figure with halo, seated on a tiered throne. Throne and interior of door and shrine are in gold laquer. There are some Japanese characters in black paint on the dexter left door interior. There are 4 decorative metal hinges, decorative plaques on the door fronts around the catch, on the vertical edge of the door front at the opening, base edge and top edge at front.
