DescriptionA crowned figure of Neptune, finely modelled in unglazed porcelain stands on a pedestal in a victorious pose with one foot on the head of a large fish (dolphin ?). There is a dramatic baroque? quality to the movement of his slightly twisted body, upraised arm & lowered head, with crown, emphasized by his flowing classical robes. Facial features are meticulously detailed.
