DescriptionFigured silk satin with weft-patterned design of phoenix and pawlonia worked in yellow, pink, dark blue, green and silver filet on a red ground (now faded to brownish-orange). Lined with dragon-figured white satin, inscribed by donor: "In memory of ancestors generation after generation, by Tanno Ichiuemon, to the 19th priest of Choryu-ji, Ryoei."
