DescriptionImage of three forms of transportation in Tokyo with a steam engine chugging along the tracks next to a busy road with horse-drawn carriages and rockshaws. Passengers can be seen through the windows of the train cars, and steam billows from the stack. In the centre, foreigners fill the carriage as the horses gallop along, another carriage approaching in the opposite direction. Three rickshaw drivers pass them, including one carrying a bearded and bespectabled Westerner reading a book. At upper left, another train round the embarkement, and many ships dot the harbour.
