DescriptionA gilt bronze belt fitting. The rectangular shaped portion depicts what could be a dragon-like creature in relief with small round studs around the outer edge. One end is arched and the other is straight and has an opening to fit an attachment. The attached portion is of a pentagonal shape and depicts the same design in reverse, back to back and has the same small round studs at three points. The same depiction and incised detail appears on the front and back.
