The Art Gallery of Greater Victoria is always seeking new members for our Board of Directors.
We are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Board of Directors.
As a leading institution in the arts and culture sector, the AGGV is committed to fostering equity, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of its work. This includes building a Board that reflects the broad range of experiences, perspectives, and identities essential to helping the Gallery better serve the diverse needs of the Victoria community. We welcome applicants from all communities, especially those who have been historically underrepresented.
The AGGV Board is made up of individuals with a variety of expertise, including law, finance, visual arts, property development, and more. While prior board experience is beneficial, it is not required. We highly value fresh ideas, enthusiasm, and a shared commitment to advancing arts and culture in our community.
This is a volunteer position with a time commitment of up to 8 hours per month, which includes participation in at least one committee. While there is no financial compensation, this role provides a meaningful opportunity to shape the Gallery’s direction, growth, and engagement with the community.
