Statement: Non-objective Painting

“My work evolves by pursuing that which is uncertain, cultivating accidents as seeds of possible innovation. Sweeping revisions invite unforeseen outcomes; an active but non-striving, non-objective engagement, akin to meditation but accommodating play. In the surfaces that result, evidence of countless edits remain, inviting intimacy and forensic exploration.”
