Arden Rose
Arden Rose is a Victoria-based artist working in acrylic and collage, and most recently, in oil and cold wax. Largely self taught, she has been influenced by the Expressionist Movement, Fauvism, Modigliani, as well as the natural world. Her work ranges from Impressionistic portraits to bold landscapes and florals. Rose easily captures both joy and wonder and is colourist at heart. She is a member of the Victoria Arts Council, Saanich Peninsula Arts and Crafts Association, and owns and operates The Fairfield Art Studio.
