BiographyKristina Kudryk currently resides in Toronto. She received a Masters in Fine Art from the University of Calgary in 1998. Her work has been exhibited in both public and private galleries including The Art Gallery of Alberta, Edmonton, Leo Kamen Gallery, Toronto, La Centrale, Montreal and Helen Pitt Gallery, Vancouver. Kristina has received grants from The Alberta Foundation for the Arts and The Canada Council for the Arts for the production of her work. In 2002, she was short-listed for the New Canadian Painting Competition and was included in the 2008 publication of Carte Blanche V.2 Painting. In 2009, she participated in the residency "Why are Conceptual Artists Painting Again? Because They Think it is a Good Idea," lead by Jan Verwoert at the Banff Center for the Arts.
