Kanjiro Kawai

The Kanjiro Kawai House is run by Kawai's family. (No foundation, no company.) In 2023, they celebrate 50 years of opening this small museum. Kawai had one daughter, named SUYAKO, who married HIROTSUGU, a potter with connections to the Kawai family. They had three daughters. Tamae Sagi is the youngest and runs the Kanjiro Kawai House along with her brother in law, Kawai Toshitaka -- who is also a potter and the director of the museum.
