DescriptionA clock out of its cabinet. Clock has a facade with roman numerals, modern numbers (5 & its multiples up to 60), a guage (for lunar cycles ?), a winder for the key & a date indicator. At the far corners of the clock are triangular classical floral carvings with a face in the center. Above everything is a miniature portrait of a uniformed man. On either side of this are more of the carved decorations. The works of the clock are completely exposed. The cabinet is a mantel ( or bracket ) cabinet glass on all four sides with a large door on the front & a smaller door behind. The top is decorated with 2 scrolls that turn into sloping surfaces. Three urn-like spires top it off. Inside cabinet are two blocks.
