DescriptionFigure of a young boy standing on a rocky, roughly textured, base with one knee slightly raised on which a dog is climbing up towards his face. The boy is barefoot, & loosely dressed with an open coat & lower shirt buttons undone, but the meticulously detailed mmodelling of his bodily features & clothing bring the piece alive with a classical elegance. The rocky base extends up behind the figure, providing a background & support. Accented with small clusters of flowers & other vegetation in applied relief.
