DescriptionSturdy figure of bearded & crowned Neptune is holding an upturned urn out of which water is pouring, & he is standing in front of a large green scaled mythical dolphin. Neptune is wearing a pale yellow cloak with puce, turquoise & gilt wheel-like forms in a gaudy pattern. The base is characteristically high (approx. 7.5 cm) & is made up of exaggerated & heavy scrolls & has five scroll feet.
