Description120 plate helmet has metal ridges that radiate from a central circular vent hole at the top that is decorated with brass fittings. A ridged metal band around the lower edge, attached with decorative brass rivets(?), is turned upright at the two ends (at sides) and is decorated with blue patterned leather and braided cord. Five rows of toothed lacquered neck guard plates, lashed together with silk cords are attached to the lower edge and hang down around the back and sides. There is a metal peak at the front with a fitting for a helmut decoration. The interior has a blue cotton liner with a leather band and a heavy braided blue silk cord that ties around the chin.
