DescriptionHandle (a) is bone with copper bands painted gold - top & bottom, top band has a flange. Out of handle is a iron spike that goes through the center of the prayer wheel & serves as an axis. Bottom of wheel (b) is copper gilded & repousse decorations, the edge is studded with blue paste 'stones'. Perforated center. Main body of wheel (c) is ivory carved on the outside with elephants, tree & rows of fruit of some kind. On one side is attached a chain with a small but heavy ball. The top (d) is gilded copper with a row of blue paset stones & a row of coral stones. Applied metal scroll disign & a pointed finial. A rolled up prayer is inside.Status
