DescriptionPanoramic view of the horse drawn tramway in Tokyo between Nihonbashi and Kyobashi. Two trams of two linked cars are pulled by teams of horses along the tracks in the street, the road busy with rickshaws, horses pulling wagons, and labourers with warts of stock. At the bottom right, a horse-drawn cart carries several passengers, with a footman on the back blowing a bugle. Both traditional and modern buildings line the street, with Mt. Fuji visible in the distance beyond the low-lying clouds.
