DescriptionDepiction of a paddlewheel steamship heading towards the show, accompanied by a fleet of smaller boats. Red smoke drifts from the stack, and the deck is crowded with samurai. Rather incongruously, a Japanese flag flies from the rear of the ship, while a blue flag featuring the Taira butterfly crest can be seen in the bow. Several castles can be seen among the mountains, and sites are carefully detailed with name cartouches in yellow and red.Status
