DescriptionMulticolour lithograph with a portrait of Meiji Emperor Mutsuhito (reigned from 1867) with the Empress, his son Yoshihito (becomes Emperor Taisho in 1912), daughter-in-law, his grandson Hirohito (becomes Emperor Showa in 1926), and his granddaughter, all on a turquoise blue background. Above is a poem inscribed on an arrangement of square shapes, fan and a circle. Surrounding the poem are flowers and above is a small portrait of a bearded man.
