DescriptionGuards are roungly rectangular with green silk brocade on the exterior, indigo blue cotton lining and edged in leather; a semi-circular knee section at the top is of blue wool and decorated with embroidery. Exterior armour covers the silk brocade and consists of seven vertical lengths of black lacquered metal (five long and two short) that are separated and held together with sections of metal chain link. On each piece there is a single leather square beneath the two short sections. There are loops on the exterior at top and bottom for accommodating the ties. Status
