DescriptionUncut panel for a robe consisting of the left and right halves and the front overlap, is constructed from bright imperial yellow (minghunag) silk, and embroidered with nine dragons symmetrically placed. The dragon's are embroidered with gold and silver wrapped thread. There are flames surrounding the dragon and stylized clouds (ruyi) with red and grey bats throughout the robe. Amongst the clouds are various symbols including a blue axe head and swastika. At the bottom of the panel are diagonal bands and rounded shapes which represent water.
