DescriptionNetsuke has a squared shape, with front panel depicting Oishi Kuranosuke, leader of the 47 Ronin, from the play Kanadehon Chushingura. Opposite side is intricately carved in Ryusa style with hollowing and piercing depicting many objects such as umbrella, fan, tree, lantern, flowers etc. Two perforations at centre (himotoshi).Status
