DescriptionNetsuke depicts a figural group of Yamauba harvesting peaches with a curved knife in her proper right hand and a branch with a basket of peaches slung over her proper left shoulder. Her small naked son Kintaro clings to her robe and basket. Base of Yamauba is hollow and there is a perforation at one side.
